When I'm in the mood for some tacos I will make the 20-30 minute drive from the Santa Ynez valley for some delicious tacos ( I am picky when it comes to tacos).
I have been going to this taco truck for a while now and it does not disappoint. I went yesterday and got 1 asada taco, 1 el pastor, and 1 chorizo. El Culichi is an authentic Mexican taco truck. The tacos are exquisite with very good quality. The meat is very well cooked. You can also turn one taco into two by taking off one tortilla and putting a little bit of meat in it. There is a lot of flavor in the taco and some spice too. Of course there is no ambience because it is a taco truck. You get your food in about 10 - 15 minutes usually. The service could be more friendly, though. Despite that, I would highly recommend this taco truck.

These guys are awesome! Fast, fresh and always delicious. The prices are decent and the food is so good. This location is nice because it's not on the main road through town, so it's quiet and chill. I can't recommend them enough!
Love this taco truck! Service is good, they are friendly and fast. I usually just call in the order and pick it up to avoid a line if there is one. My favorite thing to order is the papa relllena, baked potato with cheese grilled onions and asada. Stop by and try one! or a vampiro!
I drive 30 minutes to lompoc just to get their amazing tacos and sea food tower! Super clean, wonderful flavors. Best mexican food on the central coast!

Get the birria tacos con queso and get a side of consome and thank me later. Although Tacos El Culichi is known for their seafood fare, they're actually one of the few places in town that offer birria tacos and actually do them well in my opinion. The tacos are juicy, flavorful, and crispy. Tacos are decently sized and priced. Their consome is flavorful and pairs wonderfully with the birria tacos. I'd say their birria tacos are comparable to Birria Boyz Tacos in terms of flavor. If you're in the mood for birria tacos, I'd highly recommend Tacos El Culichi. Pro-tip: Call them ahead of time to place your order since Tacos El Culichi can get pretty busy.
